| BUSES TO MACHU PICCHU
Take the train directly in San Pedro station in Cusco until the Aguas Calientes station. The trip lasts between 3 and 4 hours. From there, take a public service bus that will take you to the Machu Picchu citadel. 1.- From Aguas Calientes you can take the buses that depart every 30 minutes towards Machu Picchu. They stop just a few minutes in Puente Ruinas station. You can also go to Machu Picchu on foot (It takes about an hour). Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu (Departure and Return) - Bus ticket one way (departure or return) $4.50. - Bus ticket round trip (departure and return) $9.00 2.- From Puente Ruinas the service is every 15 minutes traveling by the winding road until reaching Machu Picchu. The first bus leaves from the Puente Ruinas station towards the citadel at 8:30 h and the last bus returns at 17:30 h. In both cases, the cost is US$ 6 per person (departure and return). It is recommended to make line as son as you reach the station. If you prefer, you may go up on foot. It takes almost one hour. From Puente Ruinas it is necessary to go down 700m through a winding path of 6 km towards the citadel. 3.- It is also possible to reach the Sanctuary by land to Ollantaytambo and then by train. 4.- There are potential investors and micro-entrepreneurs from the town of Machu Picchu, who through the pass of the time, have shown to be able enough to make and manage their own businesses.
