There are varieties of flora and fauna very similar to those found in the lagoon of Pomacanchi. The third lagoon is Asnaqocha "lagoon of bad smell" for its name in Quechua. From this lagoon there is a quite disgusting smell and there is little variety of flora and fauna. The fourth lagoon is the highest of the circuit (3750 m.a.s.l.) and it is called Pampamarca. It embraces a great variety of wild fauna such as "parihuanas" and wild ducks, all of these animals thanks to the abundance of totora surrounding the lagoon. Sportive fishing is mainly practised in Pampamarca.
